Things I’m Learning as a Volunteer Counselor

I’m beginning training as a volunteer crisis counselor. It’s work that is very close to my heart and matters a great deal to me.

Even though I’m planning to continue my education and become a therapist, I’m already learning that some of the things I did in my marriage and as a parent reflect aspects of the counseling model.
