The superpowers of getting older

When we look at how our culture views women as they get older, it’s mostly negative. Every once in a while, someone comes along and defies our expectations of aging, and we collectively ooh and ahh about how young they look. Think of Jennifer Lopez at the 2020 Super Bowl: remember the comments everyone made about how great she looked at 50? How many of us thought that if she could do it, why couldn’t we?
