Feminism leaves middle-class women behind

I’ve considered myself a liberal feminist since I was a teenager. I still do, but now I feel like I have to put asterisks by that statement. Feminism has not reciprocated my loyalty to the movement with inclusion and representation. Instead, it left me behind at several key points when it really mattered, which permanently altered the trajectory of my career.
