Coming Up on the Magical “One Year” Anniversary

A picture I took of my husband almost exactly one year ago. It was one of the last pictures I took of him.

Fall is creeping in, even here in Texas. By that, it means that it gets down to the 60s at night. The evenings are truly pleasant here during this time of year.

We just celebrated Halloween, although I personally didn’t do anything at all this year. I didn’t put up any decorations or even pass out any candy, though I bought some. The kids and I will eat it ourselves, I guess (more…
